How to Get Featured

Hello,

We are always looking to meet musicians or bands in the Bakersfield area to work with. What we want to do with this blog is create a platform where musicians can have an opportunity to share their music and allow the public to get to know them on a more personal level through our podcast interviews or written stories as well as links to their music.

Here are some things we look for:

You must be a local act or from surrounding areas (just ask). We want to keep the focus on music in Bakersfield

You or your band must have music recorded and available somewhere online (Soundcloud, Bandcamp, iTunes etc.)

For podcasts:

You must have a place where we can meet you and record the interview because we currently do not have a dedicated studio or space to use. Plus this gives us a chance to get to know you better in your environment, like a rehearsal space. We will provide the recording equipment.

We would also like to incorporate a couple of your songs recorded live for the show so you or your band will have to do an acoustic performance. This is a really good way to gain fans and show them a deeper side of you. And again, we will provide the recording equipment.

We are also looking to do a show where we just feature music with a DJ spinning the tracks and giving some info about each song and artist on the show. To be a part of this just send us some music and ask to be featured on the radio show.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ALL TYPES OF MUSIC, NOT JUST ROCK SO WHATEVER YOU DO WE WANT TO HEAR IT!
